Step Counter - A 3D Printable Solo Puzzle Game
The STL files can be downloaded here.
Welcome to Step Count, the minimalist puzzle game where every step is a calculation and there is no turning back. You stand on the grid with a simple goal of reaching the finish line. But the ground beneath you is crumbling. Every tile you leave behind vanishes into the void, and the numbers ahead dictate exactly how far you must leap. One wrong calculation will leave you stranded in thin air. Can you find the perfect sequence, count your steps to zero, and clear the board?

Setup
- Mix the 9 tiles face-up: S (Start), F (Finish), and seven numbered tiles (1, 2, or 3).
- Arrange them randomly into a 3x3 grid.
- Place your player marker on the S tile.
Objective
Visit and flip every single tile on the board, landing exactly on the F tile on your final move.
How to Play
- The First Move: Starting on the S tile, move your marker 1 space (Up, Down, Left, or Right) onto an adjacent tile. Immediately flip the S tile face-down (it is now spent).
- Following Moves: The number on your current tile dictates exactly how many steps you must take for your next move.
- Flipping Tiles: Once you complete your steps and move off a tile, flip that tile face-down.
Rules of Movement
- Passing Through: You can step through face-down (spent) tiles and the F tile, but each step counts toward your movement total.
- Ending a Turn: You cannot end a turn on a face-down tile.
- Winning: You win if you visit all 9 tiles and your 9th step lands perfectly on the F tile.
- Game Over: You lose if you are forced to end your turn on a spent tile or cannot fulfill the exact number of steps required by your current tile.
